The One Ocean Expedition is honored and grateful for having the support and endorsement of three fantastic goodwill ambassadors.
Erna Solberg: The Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg became a goodwill ambassadors for the expediton in 2019. She is also the leader of the International High-level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy.

Peter Thomson: The United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for the Ocean, Peter Thomson, has accepted the same position. Thomson is leading the United Nations´ efforts to mobilise action and raise ambition for the implementation of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 14: life below water.

Penelope Lea: Junior high school student and member of the Children’s Climate Panel, Penelope Lea, is a leading voice for children and young people who are concerned about the clima crisis. In addition to demanding action from Noway´s politicians, she makes a significant effort by inspiring young people of all ages to get involved in environmental issues. She is the youngest ever winner of the Norwegain Volunteer Award and has participated in the UN climate negotiations in Bonn and Katowice.
