One Ocean Expedition

2025 - 2026

In April 2025, Statsraad Lehmkuhl embarks on a grand voyage to advance ocean research and inspire engagement for a sustainable ocean. The year-long expedition will cross the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean, the Arctic, the Pacific, and the Caribbean, with stops in 26 ports across three continents. For the first time, the ship will sail in the wake of Roald Amundsen through the Northwest Passage.

Several legs of the journey are chartered by partners in research, education, and business, but many voyages are open to the public.
