Expedition log
Marking milestones from time to time is important for keeping up morale and today is our second Saturday at sea, the first quiz-evening and during the night also the first changing of the clocks – i.e., we will adjust the ship’s time one our back. We have also had our second scientific sampling stop on this leg - which is a good thing – for in a few days we will sail through the exclusive economic zone of St. Helena, where we will have to take a break for a few days. In the meantime, we have enough of activities to keep us busy and tomorrow man-over-bord and firing exercises are on the program – though not simultaneously. With greetings from the South Atlantic Ocean – Captain M. A. Seidl and crew
